“The co-op is important and impactful because it’s all about community and I think that’s something that society these days is lacking and we’re falling behind on. I’m sure there’s a lot of contributing factors -- maybe the internet? We’ve sort of become dislocated from each other and I think the co-op and the community here is an opportunity to reestablish that connection that we all have with each other. It makes us feel empowered that we can make a difference. I think the co-op allows that.”
