“There’s so many people at the co-op that care so much about it and care about each other and care about the people in this community and supporting this community, and I just really fell in love with that aspect. And then the more I learned about what a cooperative is and the longer I was working at Common Ground, that aspect of it really meant a lot to me. And then also working for the co-op and being a part of the co-op network that is so supportive -- the fact that you can go to other co-ops and ask them exactly how they do things, and they tell you! There’s like a friendly competition thing that’s really lovely that I wish other businesses would adopt.”
