Michael: "As the oldest Domestic Violence service provider located here in Champaign Urbana, Courage Connection provides the service values of Safety, Support and Success to all individuals facing domestic violence. We help women, men and families regain control of their lives."


CGFC: "What are your greatest needs as an organization?"


Michael: "While grants support many of our programs, donations help ensure our services and facilities are available and open to this facing domestic violence abuse. Sharing our message within the community is key that our services are avaible to anyone in need."


CGFC: "With the funding raised by our Round Up For Good, where will the money go?"


Michael: "It will help cover daily operating expenses that are not grant covered. By providing resources to our staff, we can support materials and program resources to continue delivering outstanding support services. Our clients are facing the most difficult stages of their lives, our agency is that calm, supportive environment they are seeking and need."


CGFC: "How does the Co-op tie into your personal life?"


Michael: "Food preparation and presentation are part of my self care routine. The co-op is my destination for locally sourced food along with the unique ingredients not found in mainstream grocery stores. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and make the shopping trip enjoyable."
