"I wish people knew that farming brought in all sorts of skill sets. I mean I look at farmers who are biologists, they’re engineers, they’re mechanics, they’re PR people, there are so many different skill sets that go into farming. They’re business people, they’re marketers, there’s a lot that goes into it. It’s not just putting a seed into the ground and waiting for it to rain. It takes brilliance in a lot of respects to get someone to manage all those details and work with so many different parameters that you can’t control. So, I wish people saw farming as a blend of science and art and had more respect for the profession."
